Biography

Dennis Castiglione is the Outreach Program & Development Manager for Harmony Foundation International (HFI), headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee.

Castiglione created and directs the Power of Harmony, an anti-recidivism program that brings music education, professional performances, adult mentorship, and participation to incarcerated youth in juvenile correctional facilities. A Cleveland native, Dennis sings with and serves as President of the Men of Independence, an internationally-ranked men’s barbershop chorus. He is also a Northeast Ohio-based veteran film, theater, and voice actor.

A 1976 graduate of Bowling Green State University (BA in Communications), Castiglione changed his life trajectory from a successful career as a sales and marketing consultant for over 30 years to lead a family-owned charitable foundation focused on helping children and animals who are compromised by circumstance. The development and launch of Power of Harmony was yet another career shift that brought him to Harmony Foundation International to focus fully on bringing music and its life-changing qualities to youth in underserved communities.

In addition to Power of Harmony, Dennis works as the HFI liaison with the Association of International Champions (AIC) to coordinate the AIC Outreach Program which brings international championship quartets to chapters and districts throughout the country to perform and participate in youth outreach program.

Castiglione lives in Solon, Ohio with his wife, Suzi. Their youngest son, Giovanni is a member of the Iota Omicron chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia at Bowling Green State University and serves as the chapter’s Fraternity Education Officer.
