Office Sought:

Committeeman-at-Large (3-Year Term)

Vision for Sinfonia:

I see Sinfonia as an opportunity to connect musicians all over the United States. In the past few years, our fraternity has been shaken and rocked by the pandemic and the squabbling of Brothers. I want a Sinfonia that is united, where Brothers from the past and the present can come together for a common cause. I want to see chapters expand, I want to see Lyre Crest grow and became a destination for Sinfonians and musicians alike. Sinfonia has so much potential, instead of secluding ourselves, we need to be out in our community and country making a difference.

Why Are You Running:

I want to run for committeeman at large (3 years) because I feel like I have a unique perspective on the fraternity. I helped found the Sigma Omicron chapter, I also developed great relationships with Brothers around the country. I feel like I have so much more to give to this fraternity and while love all that I have done at the local and province level I want to help make a difference nationally.

Qualifications for Office:

I feel like I am perfectly qualified for this position. I have both a BA and MA in history, meaning I have the ability to study difficult issues to better understand things. I have a strong work ethic, I helped found the Sigma Omicron chapter and have continually worked at helping not only my home chapter but other chapters around me as well. I have a great relationship with Brothers all around the country, including the Brothers of the national staff. Even though I may not have experience in finances, I am always willing and able to learn. I am also a teacher, meaning I have great skills in both planning and discussion. I feel like I bring a very different perspective to the fraternity that will greatly benefit the next three years as we return to normalcy.
