Biography

DeRochelle Coleman (Mu Psi Chapter – 1996) is an entrepreneur and marketing and advertising executive with over 20 years of committed excellence in the areas of marketing and production. He serves as Vice President of Production at FUSE Advertising.

Previously, DeRochelle was an Artist Development Representative for the Warner/Elektra/Atlantic Corporation (Warner Music Group) developing market presence for major label priority artists like Linkin Park, Missy Elliott, Yolanda Adams, T.I., and Jason Mraz.

He is also the owner of Shock City Studios, the most trusted recording studio in St. Louis; a large format recording facility specializing in music recording, podcasts, audiobooks, and post-production services. Some of his clients include Sean “Diddy” Combs, Pitbull, Outkast, Nelly, Lil Kim, Future, SZA, The National Blues Museum, NBC’s The Voice, and American Idol. In 2015 DeRochelle was one of the executive music producers on the Kids Rock Cancer Documentary narrated by nationally renowned broadcaster Bob Costas, earning him an Emmy Nomination in the category of Human Interest-Program/Special.

In 2012, DeRochelle joined the creative team at FUSE Advertising where he prides himself in being an intricate part of the creative direction to the premier Urban and Multicultural specialist to world-class brands. Since becoming a part of the creative team, DeRochelle has been involved nationally with the creative direction of the historic Obama for America campaign, Hyundai Motor America, and Anheuser-Busch.

DeRochelle is also the Chief Content Officer (CCO) for GFNTV (Global Fuxion Network Television), a streaming network that offers exclusive live stream events and the latest in premium urban video entertainment.

He spends his downtime playing the occasional gig and speaking at area colleges and universities about the music industry through Volunteer Lawyers and Accountants for the Arts (VLAA). He is a life member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America
